Who We Are

The Aurora Women’s League was established in 1980. We are a service/social group who is dedicated to the enhancement of our community. Our purpose is Friendship-Community-Service. We welcome women from Aurora and surrounding areas-especially those who are new to the area. A variety of topics and speakers can be heard at the monthly meetings, along with socializing and refreshments.

What We Do

For over 27 years we have made a difference for many Aurora and Portage County charities that have benefited from service projects and fundraisers such as:

The Susan G Komen, Relay for Life

St. Jude’s Research Hospital

American Lung Association

Benefits of Membership

Aurora Women’s League members are involved in many worthwhile projects, but we also enjoy socializing with fellow members and our families. The Casino Night, Secret Sister Holiday Party and working on our Service Project for the Robinson Memorial Hospital are just a few examples of the get-togethers, which enable our members to get to know each other and develop solid, long-term friendships.

We are a diverse group- some of us are single, some married, some have children, some work full-time outside the home and inside the home. We are women just like you- we are generous, caring and talented-who share our skills for the common goal of enhancing the quality of life in our community.
